Fall 2024 LGBTQ+ Teacher Cohort

The LGBTQ+ Teacher Cohort is a space that was created out of a need for a space for LGBTQ+ teachers to gather, build community, offer support and resources, learn and grow collaboratively, and work through challenges we are facing together.

The cohort will meet via Zoom twice per month as a whole group on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month from September 11, 2024 - December 11, 2024. On the weeks when we don't meet as a whole group, participants will meet virtually 1:1 with each other to build stronger relationships.

This cohort is for teachers who identify as LGBTQ+ and teach in K-12 settings in the United States. We face unique challenges and we deserve spaces where we can feel valued and connected to one another so we can create similar spaces for our students.

Each full group session is 1.5 hours (7:00-8:30 pm EST) and the 1:1 sessions are 30 minutes. Attendance is mandatory. Please do not sign up if you aren't able to commit to participating in the full program.

Professional development certificate issued at the end of the cohort for participants who participate in all aspects of this program from September - December.
